TL;DR:

A password vault is the most secure pragmatic approach to managing passwords, particularly by enabling the use of long, complex, passwords, unique to each web sites. I demonstrate installing LastPass, and using it to sign in, create and update vault entries, as well as describing what information is stored for each entry. Finally I show how to back up the contents of your LastPass database both to prevent data loss, as well as possibly move to another tool if you’re so inclined.

  1. Thank you Leo. I have been using LastPass for a couple of years and I still learned some things. Notes are one of my favorite features too.
