Thank you again for your patience and your support as we work hard to make Ask Leo! Tip Of The Day life just a little less confusing.
I wanted to give you a little bit of an update as to where things are today.
As of last Monday all new Ask Leo! Tip Of The Day entries are being published via and hosted on askleo.com. That means that the links in the Tip Of The Day emails will take you to askleo.com and it’s your askleo.com account that you would use to login.
As I outlined last month, this is a completely separate account from that used to login to members.askleo.com where the tips used to be published.
Today, archive of tips published prior to February 1, 2018 are still on members.askleo.com, but we’re in the process of moving them here. When that’s all done our goal will have been reached: you’ll only need your askleo.com account to access The Ask Leo! Tip Of The Day.
As I also mentioned earlier, things may be a little rough as we transition, so your patience and understanding are still very much appreciated. There have been a few issues, but for the most part things have gone relatively smoothly.
What was that plan again?
As I outlined last month, we’re in the middle of a multi-step process. Here’s where we are today:
- New askleo.com account. Done. You should now have one, and should be able to login to https://askleo.com/my-account/.
- New tips move to askleo.com. Done. That’s what this email is announcing.
- Old tips move to askleo.com. In progress. The existing archives are being moved to askleo.com.
- Old tips leave members.askleo.com. Finally, I’ll remove the existing tip archive from members.askleo.com. They’ll be in one place: askleo.com.
After those steps are done, you’ll no longer need your “members.askleo.com” account for The Ask Leo! Tip of the Day. (Though you may need it for other things still stored there – for now.)
Thank you, once again again, for your support, your understanding, and your patience.
(An archived copy of this email can be found at Update: Changes to the Ask Leo! Tip of the Day and the prior announcement is at February 2018 Changes to The Ask Leo! Tip of the Day. If you have questions, please comment one one of those, as it’ll help everyone who has the same question.)
