I get 'Error Could not execute main' on startup – how can I fix it?
What Windows Startup Programs Do I Need? - Windows startup is a complex process further complicated by the number of programs that add themselves to the list. Paring it down takes work.

b) check to see what’s running on start-up. Using that Microsoft KB article as a guide for what to look for, see if similar items have somehow been placed in your startup http://ask-leo.com/archives/000025.html
Got To Run and type regedit
Double click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
THEN SOFTWARE
THEN microsoft
windows
current version
run
delete ANYTHING that contains WJVIEW
chances are that its adware…
I had the same problem on my Win ME Machine
If ANYONE TELLS YOU TO DELETE WJVIEW IS A COLMPLETE IDIOT…NEVER DO THAT…
lately every time I turn on my computer my dial up connection will pop up in the middle of my screen . How can can I prevent this from happening ? Just because I turn on my computer dosen’t mean I need the Internet.

I’d:
a) check for spyware – what you’re describing certainly sounds like it.
