Did you read the information at the link referenced in the article?
I am having a problem removing the bar that pops up on my computer. In the properties it says this-http://mysearchnow.com/passthrough/newpass2.html
I looked in the add/remove programs for anything that relates to this and cannot find it. I did find it in the search i did of my computer and it came up in a notepad. I deleted that, but the bar still pops up. Can you help?
Thanks
Lesly

I cant download the *.exe file to uninstall lop.com. Can you please email me the zip file.
I had that same problem, but if you copy this http://lop.com/new_uninstall.exe url and paste it into a download manager “add url” section i.e downloader accelerator plus. Then click on the program when it comes down and it will give u a little warning (how cocky can ya get?) click ok..fill out the code number and click on the prompts..wala..happy days it goes.
I guess you all checked the file with a virus checker and found the trojan horsin the new_uninstall.exe file then??? whats that I hear you say? no? oh dear go back people and check again and stop trusting these people to actually really help you get rid of their own spyware.
No worries dudes, I have a copy of their un-installer before they decided to infect it with a trojan.
This file is virus free, and un-installs their f****** annoying roduct !!!

My antivirus program detects it as having traces of troojan. and although the uninstaller has been saved, when I run it I get a popup telling that the file is not a valid win32 application
I have tried everything to get rid of this. I have the search bar at the bottom, the search bar at the top and the icons on my desktop. No matter how hard i try to delete them it wont work. For all the people with the security warning, delete lop from your restricted sites and it should work. Are there any new uninstallers availible yet?
Hey Thank You so much!!!!! the uninstaller got rid of the search bar and icons and now my internet is much faster! thank you!
Thank you SO much.
I’ve just got rid of Lop with the link that Tony Collings posted. He is a true gentleman.
Your an absolute Star. Thank you so much I have being trying to get rid of this for months. Any idea how to get rid of win fix which is my other problem?
Thanks so much for letting people know how to get rid of that *&*&%^$* software. I spent hours and hours trying 5 different anti-spy softwares, looking for things on the windows registry and nothing. The only thing that worked was downloading the uninstall software from a link posted here (not the lop.com link because that one doesn’t work.)
You guys rock!
I successfully uninstalled this and posted a thank you message, but in the last few weeks, it keeps coming back – every few hours it seems. The uninstall bar gets rid of it and hey presto, there it is again. Does anybody have any idea what I can do? Thanks.
Thankyou soooooooo much!! Finally got rid of those annoying tool bars!!
How do I get rid of the lop.com blue tool bar at the bottom on the desktop, I’ve tryed that link to that software, reged and didnt remove the damn bar……how the **** do you get rid of this, i’ve try spy bot and every thing else, nothing seems to remove it, it only shows up and stays when i press internet Explorer. plz some for god sakes help me.
I would try additonal spyware checkers – Microsoft’s Anti-Spyware comes to mind. Not all checkers catch all spyware.
cant get rid of need too find web page that keeps popping up and will not let me remove it in the ADD/REMOVE programe
Sounds like you need a good spyware scan: http://ask-leo.com/spyware_how_do_i_remove_and_avoid_spyware.html
How can I erase the lop.com tool bar? I tried several ad-remover software but still has problem. I tried to download the software from lop.com but still has problem to download it. It is so annoying.
remove anything in the registry under here
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects]
it worked for me after all the other things failed
including say dont run third party stuff in my internet explorer settings.
almost enough to go for firefox
Help!! When I start my computer, I get a message about the “progra~1/mywebs~/bar/1.bin/F35CRCTR.dll” not available then my System32 window pops up. I went to “config”, “startup”, and unchecked this. Now everytime I start my computer, both my System32 and Configure window pops up and it tells me that I need check normal startup box. When I do this, it puts a check back in the progra~1/mywebs~/bar/1.bin/F35CRCTR.dll box and starts this mad process all over again. I think this all started because of my Adware Scan deleted it. Can you help me?
Get Avast Home antivirus scanner and install that program. Then, restart the computer, of course after the antivirus install. After restart from above, get the antivirus updated and then restarted again to set virus definitions update changes for the antivirus program. Also,it will be help the effort by trying to completely uninstall any malicious and unwanted software that is trashware before moving on ahead. After that has been done, then you would do a ‘Schedule Boot Time Scan’ from the antivirus control panel ( open the menu box from down in the Tsak Notification Area on the bottom toolbar of the desktop. This will check for trojans and what not beffore Windows has a chance to lock any file on the MS/NTFS partitions for use by the OS. Delete as necessary when you see the miscreant file in the scan; it will ask you what action to do, anyhow. Then, after that has been completely finished, go to http://www.emsisoft.com and download the a squared Personal scanner to back up the checking process even further since it scans EVERYTHING on the root partition. Install and update as necessary before using the program to ensure an up-to-date scanner definition database for the program also. If, after doing these two processes, you have a recurring problem with any specific malware/trashware, start lookin to go into the registry to make changes to repair the problem. In addition you may need to turn off System Restore (in ME/XP ) before all serious, difficult trashware/malware deletions to get completely rid of the menaces. Hope that this info helps. Oh, and by the way, do take GOOD firewalls seriously into consideration for use on your local computers at home to keep them better protected(not using Norton/Symantec…Sygate was great and can be obtained on the internet through eMule network and other P2P networks, still (while it’s still out there).
If you are referring to the same trash as I am thinking you are talking about, see;
