The good news is that it’s not quite as far-fetched a scenario as it sounds.
I’ve never done it, but it seems like it should be possible.
I would point you at software packages such as pcAnywhere
or LapLink. They handle the pc-to-pc connection, and
I believe can set up to handle dialing in. Then, assuming it doesn’t conflict
with the package, I believe you should be able to use and perhaps even share
that office DSL connection to the internet.
There are several other remote access packages that may do the job as well.
