Occasionally you’ll see something labelled as a “hand picked” advertisement. All that means is that it’s an item that I’ve personally selected to promote.
What that means is that I either have and use it myself, or I feel I know enough about it and its reputation to believe it’s appropriate to share with you.
It is an advertisement, which means that should you elect to purchase whatever it is I’ll probably get what’s called an “affiliate fee” — a portion of your purchase price — in exchange for having promoted the product. This has no effect whatsoever on the price you pay.
This is one of the ways that your purchases can help support Ask Leo!.
