Term: Large Language Model [LLM]
Large language models, or LLMs, are neural networks trained on massive collections of text collected from a variety of sources. “Training” means that the LLMs don’t necessarily contain the text, but rather information about how text — specifically the language represented by that text — is structured and used. LLMs are the foundation of most AI, including popular chatbots like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and many others.
