Term: PEBCAK [Problem Exists Between Chair And Keyboard]

PEBCAK is an acronym for Problem Exists Between Chair And Keyboard, which is occasionally used by support personnel to indicate, in an uncomplimentary way, that the computer user is at fault.

If you ever find this term used in reference to you, it’s probably time to find a different source for support. While you may indeed be at fault, use of the term is almost certainly not intended as a compliment, and is not in the least bit helpful.
